What Maya says about gambling transactions

Reading Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions directly turns up no gambling clause, just general bans on illegal activity and on anti-money-laundering breaches. The terms of its CREDIT CARD, which is a separate product, list ‘illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’ as a restricted transaction and state that the card may be suspended or cancelled as a result. In August 2025 BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 applied to Maya as well, and it took down its in-app gambling and gaming links as a result. Keep the two products apart: a rule in a credit card agreement does not restrict the wallet.
