How a best-of series is settled

A best-of series is won by the first side to reach a majority of the maps. The majority is plain arithmetic: half the number of maps, rounded up past the half. The slip names the series length for each match, so read it there.

Once a side reaches that number, the series is over and any remaining maps are not played. A match winner bet pays on that result. A map winner bet pays on its own map only, so you can lose a series bet and win a map bet from the same match.

Handicap and total-map examples

A map handicap gives one side a head start in maps. These examples use round numbers, they are not YG777 prices, and they assume a best-of-three.

1. Team A at -1.5 maps: Team A must win 2-0. A 2-1 win loses this bet.
2. Team B at +1.5 maps: Team B wins the bet if it takes the series, or loses it by only one map, so a 1-2 result still pays.
3. Over 2.5 total maps: the bet wins only on a 2-1 result either way, because three maps were played.
4. Under 2.5 total maps: the bet wins on any 2-0 result.

For a price example, a ₱100 stake at decimal 1.80 returns ₱180 in total if the pick wins, which is ₱80 profit plus your stake. If it loses, you lose the ₱100. Treat that as a worked example only; the real price is on the slip.

What to read before you confirm a pick

Run through this short list on the slip each time you add an MLBB bet.

1. The market name: series, map or handicap.
2. The side and the line, for example -1.5 or over 2.5.
3. The price, and whether it is still showing when you confirm.
4. The rule for a match that is not completed, which the slip’s rules spell out.
5. Your stake against what you meant to risk.
